Lints

OMG!!!
I cant stand them!
Somehow I've managed to accumulate some in my hair YET AGAIN!

The last time I had some was in December when a loctitian had to take out some of the locks at the back because they had so much lint. She literally had to undo about 5 of my locks, and redo them.

Now they're back, at my temples. About 6 in total.

Oh gosh.

Anyway, I went up on good ol google and found some fellow sisterlockers' posts about the notorius lint!

From here I picked up a few things
1.i should cover my hair before bed
NOT HAPPENING!
because i picked sisterlocks for convenience ooo! Aint noway am about to revert to covering my locks! (yeah, i know i can be sooo unreasonably stubborn).

2.Check them regularly
DITTO. will do.

3. Use a lint roller more frequently.
I shall try :)

And i think (dont remember which of the sites i got this from)
- use less oil based hair care products.
Truth is, i dont use any in my hair but water. I just dont feel the need to add anything to my locks since it seems to have its own oils. I used to use the sisterlocks spray but i also used to get alot more lints, so i feel like am doing something right.



And while we're all sharing... here is another awesome idea...

When you do wash your hair, spend extra time rinsing the hairline areas. Sometimes, we wash the soaps and residues out of the body of the hair but then they settle at the hairlines, forming and attracting lints. :)
I sound sooo informative eh? See me see wahala, So why is it, that I cant seem to keep lints out of my hair?

Anyway, thanks to all the blogs I visited, I have new ideas onhow to win the battles against these lints.
