Doing it maself!

okay, so the story is:
i have not retightened since the first week of september. I usually get them retightened every 1.5-2 months however, i live 9 hours away from my loctitian (the closest sisterlocks consultant) and i missed my last appointment because i managed to catch some silly virus and couldnt make it. WELL! now am left with my matty locks that are determined to unite if i dont get up and do something,.

Problem is_ i am a student and i cant make it down to see my loctitian till the end of December (my exams are done on the 21st) so! whats a girl to do?

I have not taken the retightening course and i was actually scheduled to do that at my next meeting with my loctitian.


I have decided to take matters into my own hands.

worst case scenerio: my locks break off and i have to start over
best case scenerio: i learn a new lesson, and gain a scence of independence, oh and maybe save money in the future!
I got myself a plastic children's needle (i got the idea off of a felow blogger) and i got started...

15-17 months

up here you see my multitoned locks... i dyed my locks jet black for a while, then stopped. I honestly wish my haircolour was even lighter, i like the contrast. These pics were all taken between 15-17 months of having my locks. oh and in that one pic too, you can see that i desperately neeeeed to retighten them

Here we go with updates!

Okay so i havent bloged in a while... here is an update:





The pic above and the one below (with me in yellow) was taken sometime in May 2009. My locks were 10 months old. I am not very creative so when i need to go out partying lol, i tend to just do the good ol'side upsweep...

The picture abouve (in the wrap-dress) was when my locks were a year old (the date noted on the pic is incorrect). I used to ddye my locks jet black back then so, you'd see how dark they look.

This pic was taken when my locks were 11 months old (white and pink)

lastly, this pic was taken when my locks were 8 months old. I had just dyed them too i think
